Ironic

"Joshua Ang grieves over dead mother on his blog" - Yahoo! Singapore News. I found the subject sounds interesting, so I went to read what it talks about.

"Actress Koh Ya Hwee also wrote a blog entry titled "Appreciation", reminding everyone to appreciate their parents."
Taken from one of the paragraphs from Yahoo! Singapore article

Um... Very true... Everyone indeed need to be reminded of that. 'Cause everyone know that... but everyone keeps forget it.

Sounds ironical, isn't it? We know that one day our loves one will be gone, still, we do not truly appreciate it. It's only when we lost it, then we realised - Things shouldn't take it for granted.

For people who always advise to other people, do not wait until you regret. I believe, the ones who said all these, are, because they experienced the lost first, then regret... Though, there are people who really appreciate everything, who don't take things for granted - even for small little kind acts. but truly, how many are there?

Humans are somewhat forgetful creatures. To really understand "appreciation" - one need to experience pain, feeling of lost, regrets, etc... There are of course, some people who can just bypass this stage and knows how to appreciate. And some of them might not even know the meaning or ever go think of the word "appreciation"! Haha...

We all know that things shouldn't take for granted, we should appreciate the ones who cares for us... We know it, but how come we don't appreciate it? Why...?

Quotes Of The Day #2

#4: Knowledge is a process of piling up facts; wisdom is a simplicity

#5: Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present but not giving it

#6: Forgiveness does not change the part, but it enlarge the future
(Took this in a hurry, but the meaning should be more or less there)

P.S. Again, all these are taken from the MobTV

小丑

他在哭还是在笑?
他在笑还是在哭?
或许他即不是在哭也不是在笑,
或许这一切都不重要,
因为没感觉,麻木了。。。
就像个活死人。

Walk in the Discovery Science Centre

Went to the Science Centre recently. it changed a lot. Compare to the past, I think it was much fun than before.

Saw this near the traffic there. You will need to pay to get into the 3D theatre in order to watch this "SEA MONSTERS"
T-Rex... Or is it not? Anyway, the "McDonald" logo there sure is a spoiler... zZz
A Dodo grabbing a girl
What did you see in this picture? I took about half a min to figure it out... lol
One of my favourites... See any people hiding??
Optical Illusion, just a look and it seems interesting!
They sure are genius to make this!!
Picture frame that will forever look the same even if you turn it 180 degree
A bowl of vegetables
Cute pumpkin face... haha
Reminds of Channel 8 old show, 千年传说 or 千年不老 (Forgot the exact title)
Future house application, using sensor thing... High Tech SIA~
Can view photos, videos, and... erm... I forgot...
Fish Pond in the table... haha, you can play with the water... Concept similar like Microsoft Surface
Light change to red... This area is like an information place, where you can access information about some of the places in the Science Centre
After that, got this colorful tunnel. The steps that you took will appears squares of colors underneath you
A science competition was held. This booth shows playing of magnets and batteries... Good and bad conductor of electricity, etc...
There is even this cave-like room which lets you experience how it is feel being in a green house effect environment... It was warm... but you will start to sweat after 1min and 21 seconds in the room (The time I anyhow came out one, don't take it real)
An eel with a leopard-like spots... haha...
Another one of my favourites. This surprise me... When you sat on it, it will take your weight. Then on its right, there is this small touch screen thing, which requires you to input some of your information like Name, Age and Height. Through the sensor, it will sense your high blood pressure, cholesterol, etc... After that, it gives some feedbacks...
This is just like "Who wants to be an Millionare"... haha, not bad, quite fun but the guy who do the talking (inside the screen) was quite slow. Oh, the questions aren't that easy...
This creature here is called Leopard Geckos. So far, one of the nice-looking lizard I've seen
Those 2 here got a hamster face and a mouse tail... hahaha... Anyway, it is called Gerbils, aka "deserts rats". It appears on Africa, Indian, and other countries...

The Science Centre closed at 6pm... It is quite worth the trip to here. But the sad thing is that the dinosaur exhibition is over... Haiz...

July 1st

Today's the July 1st, and coincidenally there is a song excatly the same title - July 1st! It is sang by the J-pop Queen, Ayumi Hamasaki.

Here's the song! (I got this song from a random web hosting website... )

Lyrics:

The sky is turning little by little
From blue to orange
The colours are getting mixed
And dyeing the city deeply

Were you crying?
I didn't turn my face

If it's fine tomorrow, I will go to that sea
Changing the pain with the tears shed yesterday
Into tenderness

Above my head is just the wind blowing
With the sunlights between the clouds
And the sound of the waves rolling on the shore
Is washing everything away

I feel I have found out
What I have been looking for so long

If it's fine tomorrow, I will go to see you
Yes I will be long with you
Tomorrow, the day after tomorrow

Even if it rains tomorrow
I will go to see you
And give this song to you

If it's fine tomorrow, I will go to that sea
The pain with the tears shed yesterday are changing
Into tenderness

If it's fine tomorrow, I will go to see you
Yes I will be long with you
Tomorrow, the day after tomorrow
