It's life, isn't it?
So it's natural that this cycle will go on and on...

Just like happiness, it won't be forever.
But does that means that we shouldn't be looking forward to the future?
Since... there is no such thing as "forever".

No... I don't think so.
It just means that even more we should cherish the present, the every moment we are experiencing.

Sometimes, it is really painful.
Fully experience it.
That's life. Then we won't be wasting our life of living it.

Despite all those "big words", it is still painful... especially if the pain comes from within the heart.

Everyday we are learning new things through the way we see, hear and feel of those little things that are around us. To put it simply, everyday is a tiny little bits of experiences for us. Through these experiences, we are growing.

I am starting to think... did I know too much? To an extend that, I find life boring. Those that interest me in the past is boring to me. Feel kinda like zombie, yet, I breathe to live for the sake of living. In return, will others find me boring? I guess... yes. I think... that's when a mask is being put on (don't get me wrong, it's not hypocrite), and it becomes a part of me.

We are being hurt, betray, despise, etc... during the journey of growing up. And that's when we start building a defense of wall. The height of the wall will be determined by how much hurt one has gone through or how much one's heart is willing to open for another chance, or... both. Thanks to the current cruel realistic of this society, it's hard to express what one's true feeling.

At the age of 20+, it's already to an extend that... life is boring. As times continue to goes by... what is being ahead in the future? What can I expect?

Or... in the first place do i even have one?

1hour 15minutes more to Chinese New Year (CNY). As the same as last few years, the excitement is not here anymore. Perhaps because we have grown up?

This year CNY and next year one will be bit different, cause I am still serving NS. For me, it was definitely great as it means holiday break for us, NS men. In fact, most people will be having holidays.

No particular new year resolution or "really-wish-to-buy-list'. Maybe one for now - hope time pass fast for just these 1 and a half more year to my ORD.

Am becoming more and more like a zombie... hope it won't affect those people around me that I care...

As the topic suggest, this whole post is quite meaningless, just wanna post out for the sake of posting.

不想错过的记忆

想必有不少人挺享受拍照的，我也一样。不过近几个月来，却提不起劲，有时还觉得拍照挺累的。。。
但是，一旦有机会拍，我还是会参与其中。

为什么呢？

我猜，是因为不想留下遗憾，而可以的话，制造出更多回忆。而照片，是其中之一。它捕捉了刹那间的时刻，那时候的脸孔，地方，感情，服饰及肢体语言等等。。。不想错过任何的这些，也因此想拍下很多很跟身边有关的人与事物，即使此刻并不是很想拍照。

但我觉得当以后回首的话，会觉得这一切都是宝贵的。。。记忆。

Keep on Going! Obstacles?

Every time when given some difficult tasks, trainings or goals need to be fulfilled, one tends to feeling of giving up. Despite that, most of the people, still grin their teeth and tried their very best to finish their objectives.

I think, most of it came within the thought. Thought of finishing it so as to have a sense of achievement, and get recognition. Thought of fear of failing. Thought of a dark, unknown future ahead, thus, want to do it good so as to secure a place. And perhaps some other thoughts... that will motive and continue striving through the hardships.

However, there are things that may hinder and create obstacles to the thoughts. Especially, things that happen on your loved ones, be it your family, spouse, friends or even your pets that could likely cause great obstacles. Those things could be illness that came with age and may likely lead to death.

What is more headache will be the helpless feeling that one couldn't do anything to it. Thus, leading one to lose focus...

So how...? To stay focus, positive and strong while facing those obstacles? And at the same time, to show love and concern to your dear ones?

Well, guess everyone got their own 101 answers that may be the unique solution to them...

Wah~ Seems like this phrase has been around people's facebook, blog, and msn. It was only when I posted to my unit, and I realized how true it is.

Still, it's easier to say than done. What I mean is the process of the training, the thoughts that tell you to give up. On the hand, there are also thoughts that persuade you to go on. Looking back, am quite sure one will feel proud and that "lucky didn't give up".

Time sure flies! Even though I felt that these 16 weeks were like half a year in BMT (Basic Military Training).

There are many times where I felt so shagged and tired, and just couldn't be bothered by any other things. Looking back, it sure was memories.

Another more week to POP (Pass Out of Parade). Finally!! I am looking forward to it! But before that, the remaining week will still be shagged for me, and my fellow mates, as we will be doing the rehearsal so as to ensure everything went smoothly.

After that, most likely will be posted to unit and become men. Sigh... Who asked me fitness "not up there".

3 Years of Poly Life

Looking back to the poly life, I am really missing it. The days where my friends and I chiong for projects without sleeping or went to their house to play+projects, copy lecture notes, booking seats in LT, taking long time to decide what to eat for our meals, comparing results (in a gd way)， and chionging for exams...

Wah, so many things also yet mentioned - Presentations, planning where to go after school or during holiday, crapping, gossiping, idling, calling each other during midnight to discuss bout the next day exam/test paper, taking tons of photos in school or outside, playing facebook in lessons, etc... (And not to forget all the different characteristics and personalities of our teachers!!)

Now, everyone is starting their new milestone. Some further study in private/local uni, some went to work, some in NS (ME... HAIZ), some relaxing in home while waiting to be enlisted, while some work part-time/temp job waiting to be enlisted.

It's a great joy to come out, sit down, having a cup of coffee or simple meals and to update with those fellow poly mates!

You have just left the family after staying here for about 12 years. When you first came, you bought joy, anger and happiness here. It was my first time of interacting with a dog. And you are really truly the cutest Maltese!

I got to really apologize for what my family and I have done to you. We totally neglected you in the last 7 years. I am really sorry.

I have came to visit you in SPCA but couldn't found you. I seriously hope you to find a good family who is willing to accept all of you and, of course, is not irresponsible like us. I don't beg for your forgiveness, but I do hope that you had been happy once with us during all the years.

Having said that, I would like you to know that my mum (also your favorite family member) is very regretting of letting you go so soon. She also don't know the consequences of sending you to SPCA, else, she will do her best to retain you. She misses you a lot and has been crying when mentioned about you. I also misses you a lot.

I know that saying all those bullshit is like shedding of crocodile tears. Anyway, there is still no escape of us being irresponsible. It's all our fault that you leave this house.

Please try your best to live to your fullest with your new family. Otherwise, I hope you can lead a good life, freed of sickness in heaven.

As the shop name mentioned, this shop mainly sells ice cream - in scope and (500ML) tubes. It also sell waffles, coffees, cakes and milk shakes/float.

Um... Very true... Everyone indeed need to be reminded of that. 'Cause everyone know that... but everyone keeps forget it.

Sounds ironical, isn't it? We know that one day our loves one will be gone, still, we do not truly appreciate it. It's only when we lost it, then we realised - Things shouldn't take it for granted.

For people who always advise to other people, do not wait until you regret. I believe, the ones who said all these, are, because they experienced the lost first, then regret... Though, there are people who really appreciate everything, who don't take things for granted - even for small little kind acts. but truly, how many are there?

Humans are somewhat forgetful creatures. To really understand "appreciation" - one need to experience pain, feeling of lost, regrets, etc... There are of course, some people who can just bypass this stage and knows how to appreciate. And some of them might not even know the meaning or ever go think of the word "appreciation"! Haha...

We all know that things shouldn't take for granted, we should appreciate the ones who cares for us... We know it, but how come we don't appreciate it? Why...?

Went to the Science Centre recently. it changed a lot. Compare to the past, I think it was much fun than before.

Saw this near the traffic there. You will need to pay to get into the 3D theatre in order to watch this "SEA MONSTERS"

T-Rex... Or is it not? Anyway, the "McDonald" logo there sure is a spoiler... zZz

A science competition was held. This booth shows playing of magnets and batteries... Good and bad conductor of electricity, etc...

There is even this cave-like room which lets you experience how it is feel being in a green house effect environment... It was warm... but you will start to sweat after 1min and 21 seconds in the room (The time I anyhow came out one, don't take it real)

An eel with a leopard-like spots... haha...

Another one of my favourites. This surprise me... When you sat on it, it will take your weight. Then on its right, there is this small touch screen thing, which requires you to input some of your information like Name, Age and Height. Through the sensor, it will sense your high blood pressure, cholesterol, etc... After that, it gives some feedbacks...

This is just like "Who wants to be an Millionare"... haha, not bad, quite fun but the guy who do the talking (inside the screen) was quite slow. Oh, the questions aren't that easy...

This creature here is called Leopard Geckos. So far, one of the nice-looking lizard I've seen

Those 2 here got a hamster face and a mouse tail... hahaha... Anyway, it is called Gerbils, aka "deserts rats". It appears on Africa, Indian, and other countries...

The Science Centre closed at 6pm... It is quite worth the trip to here. But the sad thing is that the dinosaur exhibition is over... Haiz...

This particular article was also very interesting, showing the debates between 3 people, the chairperson (李美花), the coach (刘国栋) and 陈英梁 (Representative of Singapore for the Beijing Olympic). I wonder how this thing came about, seems quite sudden...

This article was generally talking about a chairperson (李美花) of STTA (A table tennis organisation) decided not to nominate 刘国栋 as the "Best Coach of the Year". Hence, all these fury debating came to surface.

Long Time No See!! Hoho~ I am back after from my Director-General training! Haha

This is the place where I work as an Interns for my SIP... Haiz... the pay is pathetic... Anyway, the working environment so far, not bad...

Apron Control Cabin (Yes, Apron... I also don't why it is being named "Apron"). This place is where they allocate air planes to specific gates (As in like, car park)

Place where Kenneth and I sat (For the 1st week and 2 days)

A LCD for us, hoho! We are just fated to be a director!

After watching, still can go grab something to drink. Don't think there is only plain mineral water, we choose to lead a healthy lifestyleDrink too much water also never mind, there's still a staff toilet in this office!
Erm... look perfect to film some horror scenes inside this toilet, or perhaps some other shows like...

After that 1 week, Kenneth and I are posted to the office in airside. Being in the airside means, go into the transit (DFS area) -> airside (Place where you can directly see those air planes!)

In the transit, there's this small cute and beautiful little gardenEverything looks nice except for the spoiler background My camera does a pretty good job in taking those photos ^^ (Also because there's a talented photographer!) And last but not least...

LAIT Class Gathering at Eugenia's House

Got a LAIT class gathering at our communication skills 2 tutor, Eugenia's house around in mid-March. Took couple of photos using different cameras (Include phone camera) and by different people, hence the photos are in different sizes and resolution.

This class gathering was rather special. Instead of paying money to the organiser to buy the food, we bring our own food. This was because Eugenia's think that it might not be appropriate to held a BBQ as it might rain (It was a rainy season during that month...), hence she suggested this.

After a series of unsatisfieness going around, Eugenia came teach me personally how to cut the cake... =_="

A slice of cake (As if you all can't see)... Anyway, it was real delicious! But not too suitable for those who are slimming down... But people like me can eat more... Wahahaha!!

Too many junk foods, and no one bring any proper foods (Like rice, noodles, abalone and etc). So we decided to order pizza. And of course, Eugenia treated us.

Back to the living room... Some chat with the tutor. (I know, unglam pose from Eugenia...)

Up Your Service Workshop - Day 1

Attended "Up Your Service Workshop" few days ago, as it names mentioned, is teaching on how we can improve our service and things that we seldom notice. At the end of this 2 day course, we still got a certificate! And glad that this cert is recognised by most of the industries! Hoho~

Below are some of the photos taken using Benjamin's newly bought Panasonic camera with 8.1 Megalpixel and a function iA (Intelligent Auto), taking photos can't be much more easier!

However, during this workshop, we are being separated from our "gang", so we can only take photos during our lunch break...

Went to Meiling's house during one of the days in Chinese New Year. We ate steamboat, play poke cards and mahjong. Sounds boring, but it was nice... lol

Day 2 - Building Model for ERM project

The next day - Saturday! Everyone should have rest enough, and surprising, it is so far, every group members came at a early time, including me... lol

And so, when we came... deciding again of how the model should look like, preparing to cut the materials (sound evil) and start work!

Day 1 - Building Model for ERM project

ERM project deadline is coming soon, and we need to come out with a model (Physical or sketch up). So my group went to buy some ingredients for our physical model! Hoho, the 1st time doing a 3D model! It should be fun! ^0^

(@-@) Haha, always talking crap (next time will try to talk fish or lobster). But quite normal of the low moral, its getting late, nothing is done and everyone is still confuse.

We are meeting on the next day, so hopefully we can get everything done... (Low possibility)

P.S. Nevertheless, I did think the whole process of discussing, perceptions conflicts and the work we done was fun! Hoho, mind you I am not "psycho"

Mother Endler passed away

At around 7pm plus, I found one of my endlers who is the mother of all the baby endlers, found dead at my desk... =_="

A "Halve Moon" female fighting fish

My cousin named this fish "Fighter""Super Delta" fighting fish, quite close to "Halve Moon"Oh, I think this fish name is "Fairy" (Hope I get it correct...)

The first fighting fish, is because of Zhongjian (Again, haha) that my cousin got himself a free one. The other one he bought it for $26! He actually got another fighting fish, but hard to capture it in camera...

My 二嫂 bought me this cookies... The taste can fight with Famous Amos, and its cheaper. The price of this cookies is only $1.90, so quite worthwhile plus the size of it is quite big (Bigger than Famous Amos but thinner alittle bit).

The packaging is also quite special... the 手感 is good for holding.. haha... Everyone should give it a try!

HP Total Care Competition - Youth Category

Joined this competition due to one of my CCA, SIFE.
Basically this competition is about using IT (Information Technology) products to help achieve business goals. Thus, we are helping out for DSA.

This competition is made up of 4 people (including me): XinYi, Jordan and Chenyuan. But as Chenyuan need to go back, the presentation left with only 3 people. Lucky we got 1 helper... Hoho~

Went to OCH on last Friday, 13-10-2008 because VC (Visual Centre).

Gokusen 3

Just watched finished Gokusen 3! It was as before, a very nice drama! However, the review wasn't that good, because most thought it was as the same as series 1 and 2.

True, the plot and people were the same! But that is what I think that it still attracts the same old viewer from the past, they still retained ALL the actors from series 1 and to series 3!

Apart from series 1 and 2, this time round, series 3 taught about memories, friends and lives. Its somehow similar as previous series, but also input some other new lessons.

So overall, it's still a must-watch jap drama!

Synopsis (Extracted from the DVD):

Yamaguchi Kumiko (Nakama Yukie) is an idealistic teacher who also happens to be the 4th generation heir to the Ooedo Group, a notorious yakuza clan. After 3 years she being the teacher in kurogin and Shirokin Gakuen. This time, she met her Kyoto Sawatara Garo (Namase Katsuhisa) from Kurogin Gakuen and he intended to employ her to teach in his new school Shakudou Gakuen.

Again she will be the form teacher of class 3-D, the hardest class to maintain in the school. And this time the main group of male students is played by Yuya Takaki, Haruma Miura, Hideo Ishiguro, Shohei Miura, Junta Nakama and Akito Kiriyama. She tries her hardest to teach the class not just about academics but about lessons of life too. Will she able to handle the class as before...?

Graceless behaviour - Old or the Youth?

Um... recently in school, there is a project for our Organisational Behaviour which is about "graceless". There is an article attached to the project assignment, and in the article, it mentioned how Singaporeans hurried their kids into the lift when it reaches... and blah blah...

I was quite argeed to what the article said... however, recently (maybe because of the project) I seen quite a number of graceless behaviour happening, especially in the bus... And I found it was more on the elderly that are displaying on graceless behaviour... There are quite a few occasion where I was being pushed forward by elderly (or senior people) and being "spezh" (erm, sorry, I don't know how to spell out the sound) by them in the bus.

Yes, of course teenagers does display gracless acts, but I think it was not that too much...

What I really want to say is, maybe, just MAYBE that Singapore is changing. Why? People like our uncles, parents, grandparents and etc, most of them did not has a proper education. Now, children are being taught moral in their primary and also in secondary schools. They are more aware of what is the right way of doing.

I've seen quite a number of times teenagers letting elderly to sit when the bus seats are full.

Well... IMO, I think there are still a lot of potential that Singaporeans will evenutally more towards a more graceful society, it just needs more time to do so.

I heard from them that the baby birds already hatched from the nest.. hoho, congrats to them.

Btw, when i took the mother's bird, she suddenly fly away, thing kanna scare by me... Pai seh... Lucky today she flew back together with her husband... hoho

Down Syndrome Association (DSA)

前几天去到 Tiong Bahru 看 DSA 开幕.
We also expect that during the presentation, we'll get a Certificate of Appreciation...but sadly, we didnt gottan it... Guess we still have not helped out enough...

DSA as the name mention is for those down syndrome people. So, we are actually the volunteers to help those people and to help the thrift shop to start... (We did not help much actually)

Um... quite meaningful!!

Actually in the photo still left 1 person, haiz... that is Zhong Jian!!
(Why do u came...so late?)

Anyway, not really disappointed... cause it's actually another opportunity to gather with everyone. 毕竟 we only left 1 and a half year...

Bought 3 different designs of magnet bookmarks at each 30cents each and a Doreamon movie version comic at $3 (kinda ex for this one)

Afterwards, we went to the Zoo~

Hoho! Got this beautiful and small fish tank from one of my friends, Zhong Jian... Haha... think he trying to promote his hobby to everyone and want us to appreciate fish/fishes...

Before: This is the fish tank (including the filter and soil) he gave... didn't wash sia...

After: Crystal Clear!!

Now just gonna wait for the fish/fishes to come! ^_^

...but, no one take for me... j/k)

After that we watched movie, 'you don't mess with the ZOHAN'. A lame but also quite funny show... Basically morale of the movie is to telling us to persuade our dreams and to live in harmony? Lol...if so, i think the message is not that strong...

Then we go visit a shop, "ICE MONSTER". It's a shop selling "创冰"... It's originated from Taiwan.

Anyway, we ordered two of the regular 创冰, one is just normal "mango with milk 创冰", and the other is "mango+strawberry+milk 创冰".

For most of the regular 创冰 it cost S$7.50
And for most of the small 创冰, it's S$4.50

For regular size, it is very suitable for the 2 people two share together... Angelina and I "自以为" so we both order 2 regular size 创冰 for our own... and have a little hard time finishing it... hoho

Later after eating finished the 创冰, we went to a place called "giraffe", sort of a restaurant, i guess? Anyway, heard Zhong Jian recommendations, the food is nice and it very suits couples to go as it got romantic atmosphere!

The first dish being served is some breads with "olive". Um... the taste was so-so, but it reminds me of the garlic bread from pizza hurt. It's actually "开胃菜", so it's Free of Charge!

The dish that we "officially" ordered is the salad, with some(actually only 3) with some soft shell crabs.

Personally, i thought it was nice, but my friends thought Sakae Sushi one was nicer... lol

Price: S$11.90

Finally came the last dish!! The desert!! The name...erm.. what "chocolate molten lava"...

The design of the desert is interesting, it got includes their "animal" symbol, the "giraffe"!!

Overall, i didn't really ate any of the "正餐"... but the deserts are pretty nice... just that the price was kinda ex...Service was very good. Total meal for us 3 persons were $31 plus... (Zhong Jian ordered a "what?" volcal (how to spell?), so it adds to this amount) including GST and service charge.

To give Yun Ting a good memory before leaving here. My friends and I intend to give her a present, which is a customize cushion with our faces printed on it.

And boom! Today I went to collect, and I was satisfied with it. The quality and color of the cushion are good, except that, the background blue don't seems very nice...

(Erm, i think my bro's camera too pro le, it changes the cushion's background color to white... lol)

Well, anyway...it was nice. If you wanna do one, you can go to Tampines Mall, 4th floor. The shop name is Art. Serve, and it is located beside Seoul Garden. Cost of the cushion is $38.90, it was slightly expensive to us, but i thought it was pretty worth. It took a week for them to process it.

We made one of the cards. Left hand is the 1st page, and below is the 2nd page.

While I was doing the card, I recommended my friends to watch "Dawn of the Dead", it's a zombie movie. It was by far the best zombie film I've watched.
